Things I learned at the AS Roma | AC Milan futbol game
1. Leading the opposing fans into the stadium early and making them stay after everyone has been cleared out is a VERY good idea.
2. Half consumed bottles of water and beer fly much further than empty bottles.
3. 4th of July fireworks are lame compared to what is thrown at opposing fans [think A bomb].
4. When the time is not right for singing, simply cursing at the opposing team’s fans in Italian works just as well.
5. Vehicle flares when not used for road safety are excellent objects to light and hurl at the opposing fans.
6. Separating the opposing fans with large safety glass panels and riot police is just good thinking.
7. Francesco Totti may be dumber than a bag of hammers, but to the Romans, he is a god.
8. Drinking espresso at a sporting event is perfectly normal.
Stay tuned for more updates as my research continues.

Daygum
It has been an amazing 2 first weeks in an incredible city. Through coaching from new Italian / American friends I have been able to join the 21 century and get myself a blog.
We have settled comfortably in this wonderful place. The students are busy with classes and seeing the world...I am adjusting to my new surroundings...
